Like I said the HP EliteBook 840 G1 is really strong laptop with really strong processor, GPU and high-quality display.
Most of Ultrabooks are 12-13 inch, but for some surprise HP keep 14 inch displays, so this 840 G1 also have 14-inch screen
But for 14-inch display this model weights around 1.50kg so its still highly portable, which makes it one of the lightest and most compact 14-inch models that we've seen recently.
If you've specifically chosen a laptop with a 14-inch screen then the quality of that screen will be crucial and this model is very good on this area.
The 1920x1080 resolution display produces a bright, sharp image with excellent all-round viewing angles, with good performances this laptop have and with this resolution without doubt this is one of the best 14-inch ultrabooks
The display also has a welcome matte finish so the EliteBook 840 G1 will be well suited to business presentations or graphical applications such as photo- or video-editing.
Our review unit was running Windows 7 Professional, and the screen wasn't touch-sensitive, but you can opt for Windows 8 Pro if you prefer.

This model is now available in just one configuration, and for 1350£ you can get EliteBook 840 G1 a model with a dual-core Haswell i7-4600U running at 2.1GHz (3.3GHz Turbo) along with 8GB of memory, 500GB hard drive, and both integrated HD 4400 and discrete AMD Radeon HD 8750M for graphics
And for that price, this ultrabook is kinda good decision
HP informed us that it does plan to offer an SSD option soon, but no dates or prices were available at the moment when I typing this review now
The combination of the i7 processor and Radeon graphics also means it's more than capable of handling demanding applications such as video-editing and PowerPoint video presentations chat, skype and other things. It can even manage a spot of after-hours gaming as well . I playing League of Legends without any problems and laggs.
I have played that game for a few hours, so battery life is good too. Without pauses on WiFi connection you can play 7 hours without charging whats good side of this EliteBook too.
